Nelson audiences are in for a treat as Nelson City Brass hosts the annual top of the South Island Festival of Brass on Saturday 25 May. Don’t miss out on gala concert tickets available now at Ticketdirect and the Theatre Royal.

The Nelson Marlborough West Coast Bands Association 2019 competition is set to wow audiences in Nelson City over the weekend of 25-26 May.  Some of the South Island’s best bands will line up alongside world class soloists for a event not to be missed.  

Events are as follows:

Saturday 25 May 
9:00am: Solo and party events (Theatre Royal/Salvation Army Hall) – free entry
11:30am: Street March (Selwyn Place) – free
2:00pm: Traditional contest (Theatre Royal) – free entry
7:00pm: Festival of Brass (Theatre Royal) – $20 adults, children free

Sunday 26 May
9:00am: Solo and party events (Theatre Royal) – free entry
