Looking for a working holiday? New Zealand’s newest ‘A’ Grade band, Nelson City Brass, is looking for an accomplished cornet and/or bass player to join our team. Now quarantine and visa free for Australians!

Hot off our championship win in the New Zealand B Grade (1st Section) Championships, and following our promotion to A Grade (Championship section), Nelson City Brass is looking for an accomplished front row cornet player and/or bass player. Our Musical Director is Nigel Weeks (NZ National Band conductor).

The ideal applicant would be available for a period of 3-12 months.  We will pay for airfares to NZ, assist with six weeks accommodation and job contacts. 

Nelson is a beautiful tourist city at the top of the South Island with plenty of work available for motivated employees.
